How ordering works

Order like groceries, delivered like cargo

  1. Order in the RUSH app

    Open Essentials, pick a trade and a store near you, and add items to your cart. Weights and sizes are listed on each product.

  2. Pay first through RushPay

    Pay at checkout. The store receives your order only once the payment is confirmed.

  3. The store confirms

    The store accepts your order, prepares it and marks it ready for pickup.

  4. RushCargo picks the right vehicle

    A motorcycle for small parts, a tricycle or pickup for appliances and sacks, an L300 or truck for construction materials. The choice is automatic, from the weight and size of your order.

  5. Track it live

    Follow the driver on the map from the store to your door.

  6. 4-digit handover code

    Give the driver your 4-digit handover code when the goods arrive, so the delivery is completed only with you.

Heavy goods ride on RushCargo. Every RushEssentials order is booked to a RushCargo driver whose vehicle can carry it, from a motorcycle up to a 6-wheeler van. See the vehicle classes.

Sell on RushEssentials

Hardware stores, appliance centres, auto and motorcycle parts shops, electrical suppliers and clothing shops sell to customers near them with the RushEssentials app. RUSH reviews every store before it opens to customers.

  • Register in the RushEssentials app with your business permit and store details, and choose your trade.
  • Build your product catalogue with prices, stock, photos, brand and model, and the weight and size of each item, which decide the delivery vehicle.
  • Receive orders live, accept and prepare them, and hand them to the RushCargo driver.
  • Payouts go to the bank, GCash or Maya account you add as your payout account.

Shop in the RUSH app

Customers find RushEssentials stores under Essentials in the RUSH app, next to groceries, food, rides, cargo and health care. One account, one RushPay, one delivery network.

RushPay is a Money Service Business (Remittance and Transfer Company and Remittance Platform Provider). It is not a bank or an electronic money issuer, and it does not hold deposits or stored-value balances.
